I was honored this month by the Department of History and the Department of Sociology with a series of awards. From the Department of History, I was granted the Woodman Award for research and the Mayer award for history and leadership. From the Department of Sociology, I was granted the Knudsen award for dissertation completion. Many thanks to the committees!
March 2023
This month I went to Sacramento, California for the 2023 Nineteenth Century Studies Association Conference. I presented my dissertation findings and met a group of lovely and talented fellow scholars.
February 2023
This month I joined the guests and crew of the Viking Sky for a Mediterranean cruise to Greece, Turkey, Italy, Monaco, France, and Spain. While aboard, I lectured about a series of topics ranging from Ancient Greece and Rome, the Renaissance, the French Revolution, and modern Europe.
